Optimising Octane for Modo

This training is aimed at helping you get the best out of Octane for Modo by showing you the key optimisations that you can make to speed up your renders and maximise the quality of your images.

Render engines are complicated, and it’s not always obvious which settings are optimal, so the training will take you through a number of different situations and demonstrate strategies for dealing with the typical problems you might encounter, from noisy caustics to how to best deal with small light sources which are hard for the renderer to sample.

Octane is capable of delivering exceptional results, and this training will show you how to achieve the best possible renders you can.

The training will also demonstrate some effective strategies for applying noise reduction without losing detail, alongside workflows showing how to effectively use render passes in Octane for much greater image-processing possibilities in post.
